Covid Funeral Assistance

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought overwhelming grief to many families. At FEMA, our mission is to help people before, during and after disasters. We are dedicated to helping ease some of the financial stress and burden caused by the virus.

Under the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2021 and the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, FEMA is providing financial assistance for COVID-19 related funeral expenses incurred after January 20, 2020.

Vaccine Information

The CDC direction is clear - vaccination will be an important tool to help stop the Covid-19 pandemic. Your next step is actually getting an appointment to get the vaccine – this will take persistence and patience. It is clear appointment opportunities are limited but keep your ears and eyes open for multiple registration opportunities. The State of Maryland site below includes an easy-to-use ZIP code link which allows you to find a vaccination clinic near you and make an appointment. #YourHealthandSafetyMATTER (Baltimore Convention Center)
