News You Can Use
Business Resource Group
Finding A Ministry: At Morning Star we want persons “engaged and serving” in ministry. A number of efforts support this vision. Each week one of our ministries staffs a table in the lobby which provides specific details on their work here at the Church. Additionally, listening groups are meeting to gather information from members regarding what we can do to get more persons involved. To be a part of a listening group stop by the Information Center or complete this online form. Finally, getting involved is just an “encounter” away. Want to usher – talk with one of our ushers – want to sing on the choir – any member of our music ministry can get you connected. Interested in learning about other opportunities where you might fit in – attend Wednesday in the Word and learn more about your spiritual gifts or, spend some time on our website and social media pages to learn about the array of ministry involvement opportunities at the church. It’s time to use what ‘u’ got.

The rhythm of the people is among us, always. It is our job to listen and take part in the song. God has given us direction. Isaiah 1:17 Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed.[a]Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.
