Quick Hit Inspirations
We need your help! For 2019, MSBC will have what we are calling “Quick Hit Inspirations” which will comprise a 365 Day Devotional. The goal is to have these “Quick Hits” available everywhere (Website, Social Media, email, and periodically in text.) What is it? A short inspirational message of no more than 30 words.
What are the Requirements?
1) 30 words total max (Including the Scripture reference as 1 word)
2) Must have a scripture reference
3) Would be great to have a call to Action for responses (Ex. What will you trust God for today? List 3 ways you will display kindness today, etc.)
The deadline for your Quick Hits is November 16, 2018.
Afternoon of Caring & Sharing
Sometimes all it takes is knowing someone cares.
Join the Renaissance Center as they create a space that caters to those who have experienced loss of loved one, divorce, job, etc., are feeling alone, or need extra emotional support. This annual event gives those who are everything for everyone all year long a space where they can receive and be refreshed with coping tools and tips.
Morning Star's NEW Food Pantry Ministry is beginning to take shape and has identified ways we can all participate when you do your regular grocery shopping. Your donation will help feed families in need for a week.
Please bring your donations to church on Sundays and place them in the marked bins or deliver them to 6665 Security Blvd between 9am -5pm.
Distribution times are Tuesdays 3pm - 6pm, Thursdays 10am - 2pm and by Appointment.

Listening Tours are still happening, and you can sign up to be contacted to attend one by clicking here. Voice your thoughts, ideas, and recommendations to the common goal of engaging more people in ministry. The listening groups are about YOU - and how we can ensure you have the information, resources and direction you need to get involved.
Praise God for paydays!
Morning Star, are you being faithful with your giving? Your tithes, offerings, and Imagine More gifts. Yes - we are in the new building, but now we must meet the financial needs of maintaining the building. And, in essence, we are maintaining this Campus (three buildings) and, until it's sold - our Winters Lane location. We cannot do it without your faithful financial commitment. Thank you for your sacrifices.
Do you know what today is? If it’s your pay day, it is an opportunity to honor God as our first budget line item. A reminder, part of our Experience is offering our Tithes on Pay Day before we pay anything else. Be blessed!

Help Us Spread The Word
Do you work for the Social Security Administration, Centers for Medicaid and Medicare, FBI or Northrop Grumman in Woodlawn? If so, we could use your help promoting some of our Ministry activities. We understand the various complexes offer a number of community/information bulletin boards and we need members/employees who would simply place our flyers and information at these workplace community information locations. If you can help, contact Dr. Anthony Brown or Deaconess Lisa Nettles at the Church (410) 747-3417. And – if you work at another location in the area and want to help share information let Dr. Brown or Deaconess Nettles know. Thanks in advance for helping us SPREAD THE WORD
